In one month, the new Genting Dream, Asia’s first luxury ship will be launched from Singapore.

She is tipped to be spectacular with amazing onboard activities and facilities, decadent specialty restaurants and bars, and not to mention, the luxurious Dream Palace.

The Dream Palace is the most exclusive part on the Genting Dream. Designed like a private clubhouse, the Dream Palace has two floors of luxurious accommodation. Booking a suite in the area means guests will get special privileges like priority reservation for specialty restaurants, spa treatments and shoe shines, a dedicated private outdoor deck and pool, 24-hour personal butler service, inclusive set menu in a specialty restaurant each night, specialty beverage packages and more.

The unique experience in the Dream Palace is the European-style butlers. They are on call 24 hours a day, they will pack and unpack for you, perfectly press your garments and shine your shoes and even serve afternoon tea, dinner or cocktails in your suite or even deliver room service from any restaurant onboard.

Guests can choose from a number of suite categories in the Dream Palace – the Dream Suite, Dream Deluxe Suite, Dream Executive Suite and the top range, the Dream Grand Villa. All suites have the special European-butlers service as well as special features like a personalised mini-bar with a selection of your favourite drinks, big bathtubs and showers as well as giant televisions.

At the top of the range is the Dream Grand Villa boasting a private sundeck, whirlpool and even, a grand piano. There are two bedrooms – one with a king-sized bed and a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed.

On the Genting Dream is over 35 restaurants, bars and clubs. This includes the JOHNNIE WALKER House at Sea – the first of its kind. Guests will be able to try exclusive whisky from one of the most established alcohol brands in the world. In the special dedicated area, there is a tasting bar where guests can trys whiskies from the Johnnie Walker Super Deluxe portfolio and purchase variants as well as single malts which are not available anywhere else in the world.

The latest addition to the new Genting Dream is Bistro, a specialty restaurant designed and curated by Australian celebrity chef, Mark Best.

Chef Best is universally recognised for his critically acclaimed Sydney-based restaurant, ‘Marque’, followed by further success with Pei Modern in Melbourne and Sydney.

He has been charged with creating a menu for ‘Bistro’, an east meets west themed restaurant – just one of the many eateries available on the ship. He will be sourcing ingredients like beef and seafood from Australia.

The inaugural cruise departs Singapore on November 6 and visits exotic destinations in Vietnam like Ha Long Bay, Nha Trang, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. She will then be homeported from Hong Kong with seven-night itineraries and Nansha, China with five-night itineraries available.
