The luxurious Celebrity Millennium has emerged from dry-dock with a brand new makeover. She has new restaurants including a modern Italian steakhouse, an outdoor cinema as well as redecorated suites.

Aussie guests enjoy the Celebrity Millennium closer to home where she will sail from Singapore and Hong Kong to Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea and more.

Celebrity Millennium is now more stunning than ever before as a result of the US$8 million that we’ve invested in this drydock,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President & CEO, CelebrityCruises.

“We have added new elements and experiences that will help open up the world for modern luxury travellers, from our gorgeously updated Suite Class staterooms to the delicious Tuscan Grille menu, and, of course, the new Rooftop Terrace.”

As one of the highlights of the makeover, the Rooftop Terrace features a large outdoor screen, chaise lounges, cabanas, soundscape and decorative lighting. It is all part of Celebrity’s new multisensory experience, A Taste of Film where diners can eat food from Michelin-starred chef Cornelius Gallagher while watching a film about food.

The ship’s Penthouse and Royal Suites also underwent some significant renovations like marble surfaces and comfortable seats in the bedroom. The suites will also get new carpeting, drapes and bed linens.

Celebrity Millennium’s Olympic restaurant has also been refurbished into the Tuscan Grille which is the popular Italian-inspired steakhouse which debuted on the line’s Solstice Class ships. Some of the new foods guests can find at the restaurant include artisanal salami and cheeses; crispy crab arancini with lemon pepper aioli; grilled branzino with spinach and olive oil as well as prime dry-aged steak.
